Frequently asked questions
What grades will LWLA serve?
LWLA will open with one or two grades in late 2025/2026 and expand each year until we offer Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Will students wear uniforms?
Yes. All students will wear a simple navy-and-white uniform to promote equality and remove daily outfit decisions. Dress-down days provide opportunities for creativity and self-expression.
How is faith incorporated into daily learning?
Faith is woven into every aspect of school life, morning devotionals, character-building discussions, and service projects, so children grow spiritually alongside their academic studies.
What hands-on experiences does LWLA offer?
Our living campus includes garden beds, a chicken coop, and a kitchen lab. Under teacher guidance, students plant crops, care for animals, harvest produce, and prepare healthy meals.
What makes LWLA’s curriculum different from a traditional school?
In addition to the Ontario curriculum, our team of specialists designs hands-on, nature-driven lessons. Students learn through gardening, animal care, farm-to-table cooking, and real-world projects that build critical thinking, teamwork, and stewardship.
Are after-school and community programs available?
Absolutely. After-school clubs, seasonal workshops, and community-focused events (determined each year) allow students and neighbors to explore gardening, nutrition, entrepreneurship, arts, and more.
What healthy products are available for sale?
LWLA staff produce all-natural skin care items—like herbal salves and lotions—using campus-grown ingredients. These products, along with farm-fresh produce and eggs, are available at our weekly farm stand and online.
How can I enroll my child?
Enrollment opens in early 2025/2026. Visit our Admissions page to download an application form, review tuition details, and schedule a campus tour. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis once applications are complete.
What is the tuition and fee structure?
Tuition includes the full Ontario curriculum, farm and garden activities, uniforms, and health benefits from our farm-to-table program. A detailed breakdown of fees will be available on our website in the coming months.
Where is LWLA located?
We are currently finalizing our campus location in the Greater Toronto Area. As soon as site details are confirmed, we will update the Contact & Location page with the exact address and directions.
How can I stay informed about updates and new programs?
Subscribe to our newsletter on the Home page. You’ll receive announcements about enrollment dates, upcoming events, program launches, and community initiatives.
